MAT Leaders Connect FAQS

  • 14th May: MAT Leaders Connect will be held at Crown Plaza Docklands, Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16 1AL · registration open from 10:30am 

    15th May: The Schools & Academies Show will be held at the Excel Centre in London. 

    Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, Royal Docks, London E16 1XL open from  09:00-16:30 

  • The upcoming MAT Leaders Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, 14th May 2025, at the Crown Plaza Docklands on the 1st floor , with Registration in the Sunset Lounge 

     

    The MAT Conference at the Crown Plaza Docklands is easily accessible via various transport options, including the London Underground, DLR, and national rail services.  

     

    Wifi is included in many areas of this hotel 

    Parking is available at the hotel at a charge of £6.00 per hour for up to 4 hours and £25.00 for 24hrs. Parking is subject to availability and the hotel does not don’t take bookings for car parking. 

    The hotel is accessible for wheelchairs users for accommodation and conference facilities. Only guide dogs are allowed, if you do have a guide dog please make a request to the hotel  and our team at GovNet prior to booking so we can make the necessary arrangements.

  • The GovNet App is the official app version of our event platform tool ConnectED. your one-stop-shop to access all event details, Exhibitor Directory, Event Agenda, Visitors Lists and much more for both the MAT Connect Conference on the 14th May and The Schools and Academies Show on the 15th May. 

    Please download this via the apple store of google play store to get the most from your networking experience.   

  • Add us (connect@schoolsandacademiesshow.co.uk) to your safe senders’ list  

    To ensure that our emails are recognised and land in the correct inbox, you can follow these simple steps to amend your settings:  

    Outlook Desktop  

    Right-click our email in your Inbox email list pane  
    On the menu displayed move your mouse over or tap Junk  
    Click or tap on ‘Never block sender’ in the menu that rolls out  
    The resulting popup will say: ‘The sender of the selected message has been added to your Safe Senders List.’  
    Click ‘OK’  

     

    Outlook Web  

    Open the email from connect@schoolsandacademiesshow.co.uk  
    Click the “Wait it’s safe” link  
    M
    ark Sender as “Wait it’s safe!  

     

    iPhone Mail App (iOS)  

    Open your mail app and scroll down to the Junk Folder  
    Find the email you’d like to whitelist and slide your finger left to see options  
    Tap the ‘More’ button, and then ‘Mark…’ button  
    Select “Mark as Not Junk”  

    This will then move the email to your Inbox and any mail from this address will go straight to your inbox and not your Junk  

     

    Google (G-suite)  

    Navigate to the spam folder  
    Search for emails containing the domain you wish to whitelist  
    Select all the emails shown  
    Click ‘More’ and then ‘Not spam’ 

  • The MAT Leaders Connect is an in-person and interactive networking event bringing together UK Leading MAT Leaders. Sessions will not be recorded. The full conference experience, including networking opportunities, is best experienced on-site.

  • Tell us how we did by completing the post-event survey that will be sent to you after the event.  

    We highly value the feedback of all our attendees and would love to hear from you on anything you enjoyed, anything we can improve on at our event.

  • To make a complaint, please email connect@schoolsandacademiesshow.co.uk and detail your feedback and contact details. We will respond to your complaint within 5 working days. 

  • You must send cancellations to us in writing 30 days before the date of the Event, and any cancellation will be subject to a £75+VAT administration fee per delegate. Cancellations received after this time or not put in writing will be subject to the full delegate fee, which will also be charged for non–attendance. Substitutions may be made at any time. We will not be able to offer refunds for cancellations arising from events outside of our control such as poor or extreme weather conditions.
