Keeping our communities and each other safe is our priority

We are highly committed to the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and wider community. Following our return to London earlier this year, Covid health and safety is still a huge priority for us.

We will continue to work very closely with the venue to ensure that we meet the COVID-19 regulations and government safety updates.

Please read on for more information on our promise to keep you safe at our event and also for some very important guidelines you will need to follow to ensure the safety of every other attendee to our show.

Register for your ticket before the show as we will have a reduced contact-registration system. Securing your ticket in advance will ensure our staff will be able to manage the crowd and plan effectively for number of attendees.

If you have access to a thermometer, we highly recommend taking your temperature before arriving at the venue. If you have a reading higher than 37.5°C or any COVID-19 symptoms, we politely request that you refrain from visiting our show.

Check out our agenda, floorplan and exhibitor list and plan any meetings in advance in order to get the most out of the show in the safest way possible.

The cloakrooms at the NEC will still be open for use, however as part of safety protocols cloakrooms are cashless, so please keep this in mind as you plan your visit.

Please pay careful attention to all communications sent out from our event team regarding the event and registration process. Mark us a 'safe sender' so these important updates come straight into your inbox

We will have face masks available at the entrance of our theatres for every attendee, if they wish to wear one. As per Government guidelines, we do recommended the use of face masks in our theatres but they are not mandatory for all attendees. If these rules are updated by the Government before the event we will update all attendees with any changes in relation to the requirement for face coverings.

We will be providing more space than ever before within the venue to give visitors the room for social distancing. This include larger hallways, networking spaces and theatres. We have now widened the aisles on our show floor and spaced the seating in our theatres to create a safe distance for everyone to be able to enjoy the show.

For the purpose of personal hygiene, hand sanitiser will be present throughout the venue and every attendee will get a personal hand sanitizer at show entry. Please sanitise your hands upon entry to the show and also before using any of the self-serve registration points in the foyer.

The NEC fully complies with government legislation on managing the risk of COVID-19 to keep everyone’s experience safe. They will continue to implement their enhanced venue sanitisation, with all communal areas cleaned frequently, alongside high contact surfaces throughout event days.

Tell us how we did by completing the post-show survey that will be sent to you after the show. We highly value the feedback of all our visitors & exhibitors and would love to hear from you on anything you enjoyed, anything we can improve on and also how you found our first face-to-face 'covid-safe' show. Keep an eye on your emails after the show.

Our COVID-19 Safety Plan reflects the requirements of the UK government, the local authorities, our industry association, AEO (Association of Event Organisers) and the venue at which the event is hosted. As new developments arise over the coming months, the approach will continue to adapt, and we will keep the community informed of any changes. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to support you.
