Alix Robertson is an Associate at think and action-tank The Centre for Education and Youth. At CfEY she has conducted research into the barriers that Latin American young people face in accessing UK higher education for King’s College London, and developed a series of films about special educational needs and disabilities for the Department for Education and Whole School SEND. Alix has carried out evaluations, delivered evaluation training, and provided communications support for a range of organisations. She has a special interest in mental health, and authored a chapter on the subject for CfEY’s book, Young People on the Margins. Alix also coordinates CfEY’s Youth and Education Podcast. Prior to joining CfEY, Alix worked as an education journalist for sister papers FE Week and Schools Week, after starting out as a secondary school English teacher.
