Alix Robertson is an Associate at The Centre for Education and Youth. In 2018 she authored a report exploring the barriers that Latin American young people face in accessing UK higher education for King’s College London. She has also worked with the National Association of Special Educational Needs to produce a series of training videos for teachers on twelve different conditions. Alix began her career as a secondary school English teacher. She then moved into journalism, working for sister papers FE Week and Schools Week where she won awards for her investigations, reporting on subjects including college finances, multi-academy trusts, and the experiences of women and LGBT people in education. Alix volunteers with the charity Keen London, helping to organise and run activities for young people with disabilities.
