Dr Antonina Tereshchenko is a senior research fellow at the Centre for Teachers and Teaching Research and a lecturer on the MA in Education at the UCL Institute of Education. Her research expertise is in sociology of education, teachers’ and students’ identities and inequalities in educational settings. She has most recently completed the British Academy funded project on the retention of BAME teachers in England and is a co-investigator on the Education Endowment Funded project investigating the impact of attainment grouping on student outcomes, with a focus on disadvantaged low attainers.
