Grace joined David Ross Education Trust in January 2020 as Curriculum Director. As part of this role, Grace leads a curriculum team of Trust-wide subject leaders in Trust-wide curriculum and teacher development. This work ensures that DRET’s Trust-wide subject communities serve subject leaders and teachers across the Trust, so that all can benefit from the sources of scholarly authority and repertoire of practice developed within their wider specialist subject communities. In her previous role she led a Trust-wide geography subject community and contributed to the leadership of a SCITT. She has held both academic and pastoral leadership roles, served as a primary and secondary school governor, and holds a Masters of Education from the University of Cambridge. Grace is currently undertaking a PhD at the UCL Institute of Education. Grace serves on the board of trustees of the Royal Geographical Society as Honorary Secretary (Education) and chairs the Geographical Association’s Teacher Education Phase Committee. She also serves on the editorial boards of the London Review of Education and The Curriculum Journal.
