Rebecca is a Department for Education (DfE) Accredited School Resource Management Adviser. She uses her 33 years’ business experience to support schools, academies and trusts to maximise their use of resources to deliver positive educational outcomes. As a self-employed business and resource management consultant in education with twelve years’ leadership experience, six within education senior leadership, Rebecca is passionate about making a difference to improve outcomes for students.
Rebecca has managed academy budgets up to £10m and is experienced in the fields of academy finance, project management, commercial contract management, health and safety, HR, facilities management and GDPR. She has produced and delivered successful business plans and project managed extended nursery provision in her work in the primary sector and extended sixth-form provision in her work in the secondary sector. With experience spanning both primary and secondary sector, in addition to private sector leadership, Rebecca understands the challenge of delivering a diverse and interesting curriculum on budget and can provide creative solutions to achieve excellent resource management.
Rebecca works both independently and on behalf of the DfE to provide self-employed consultancy in the field of business and resource management. She offers training in the field of business and resource management and is an Assessor on the SRMA programme on behalf of ISBL, along with providing quality assurance and mentoring to fellow SRMA.
