Bethany is a mental health researcher at Kings College London, working on a clinical trial specifically designed to reduce hospital admissions and relapses among African and Caribbean people with Schizophrenia. She also studied History from GCSE to Degree level where she noticed the lack of representation within the Curriculum. Bethany is determined that the future generations of young people are not subjected to a Eurocentric Curriculum. Thus, she works as Head of Research at ‘The Black Curriculum’ to convey evidence that shows all children can benefit from learning about Black history in school.
