The CPC Village

We are delighted to confirm the CPC Village will be returning to the Schools & Academies Show, the Village will be host to a range of leading CPC education framework suppliers offering practical advice and techniques for saving schools and academies time and money on everyday products and services.

The Crescent Purchasing Consortium team will also be on hand to provide expert procurement information and advice, which has never been more important in the lead up to the new Procurement Bill reforms coming into force later this year. We want to hear about your procurement challenges and how we can support you over a coffee and some free cake.   

Did you know that the CPC is an education owned not for profit registered charity, each year we open a ‘Giving Back’ funding window, which has been established since 2019, our most recent funding window donated £300k to a range of schools and academies. If you’re a CPC member speak to one of the team on how you can prepare for your application ahead of our next funding window this October.

About CPC

Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is a registered charity, not-for-profit, public sector buying authority, owned and run by the education sector.

On April 2nd, 2024, CPC merged with its subsidiary brands CPL Group and Tenet Education Services under one united single brand and will solely be known as Crescent Purchasing Consortium.

CPC provides 93 bespoke education sector compliant purchasing frameworks, with 15 being recommended and approved by the Department for Education. In addition, its paid consultancy service (formerly known as Tenet Education Services) will fall under the CPC banner. Its team of procurement specialists provide onsite support, expert consultancy and advisory services, who have a 27-year reputable track record of delivering improvements, transformations, compliance, and value for money.

The CPC’s portfolio of services and a new harmonised website, will provide its members with a one stop procurement shop for all buying and consultancy needs under one single brand.

The CPC community with its 10,000+ members will continue to benefit from the long list of membership benefits, which includes fully funded FREE learning and development opportunities, procurement news and tips along with a dedicated procurement library and free resource support tool, known as Further Education and Learning in Procurement (FELP).

CPC’s charitable objective is to advance education and research in procurement for the education sector and any surplus revenue made, is reviewed by the Board of trustees and a substantial proportion is invested back into the sector. To date the CPC has designated an impressive £1.3 million, funding 134 education setting initiatives with training, equipment, apprenticeships, eLearning and much more.

CPC is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising of eight members. The Chair of the Board, Andrew Comyn, is Deputy Chief Executive & Chief Financial Officer at Nottingham College.
