LONDON UNDEGROUND

DLR (Docklands Light Railway)

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is part of the London Underground network. The nearest stations to the ExCeL are Custom House and Prince Regent. Trains pull up at a covered walkway leaving visitors with less than a two-minute walk to the entrance. Alight at Custom House for the west entrance and Prince Regent for the east entrance and ICC London.

London Underground

The Elizabeth Line, Jubilee Line and the DLR are the quickest routes to ExCeL London. Alight at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train for the quick two-stop journey to ExCeL: Custom House for ExCeL (for the west entrance) or Prince Regent for ExCeL (for the east entrance or the ICC London).

London Overground

The London Overground, part of the London Underground network, serves a large part of Greater London and parts of Hertfordshire with 112 stations on several routes. The DLR and Jubilee Line can be connected from multiple Overground lines such as Stratford, Canada Water, and Shadwell. It’s also possible to join the Overground and travel to ExCeL London from Euston station. 

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

National Rail

Rail tickets can be booked via the following links — tickets are usually released 12 weeks from the date of travel and booking early can save you money! Tickets can be booked via National Rail or Trainline.

Eurostar

Eurostar operates regular train services from Brussels and Paris to St Pancras International. For bookings or more information please visit the Eurostar website.

TRAVELLING BY CAR

ExCeL London: Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, Royal Docks, London, United Kingdom, E16 1XL.

If you’re arriving via the M11, the North Circular (A406) or the A13, as you get closer to ExCeL you’ll pick up signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL London. If you’re using satellite navigation please enter the postcode E16 1FR for the entrance to the car park.

ExCeL London has recently invested in improvements to the venue’s car park.  New access control measures along with a pre-booking system means spaces can be booked prior to arriving on site. To pre-book your parking space please visit the on-line booking platform here. Please select the date(s) you would like to park.

BY BIKE OR ON FOOT

ExCeL London has free to use cycle racks located at the west entrance taxi drop off point, underneath the DLR walkway. 

Check cycling routes for all or part of your journey on TfL Go app. The ExCeL is very close to the cycle superhighway route CS3 which runs from Barking to Tower Gateway.

Walking is a great way to discover the local area and can be the fastest way of travelling between stations.

ExCeL is approximately 20-minutes walking distance from Canning Town underground station and you can download the walking route map here. 

BY PLANE
